Returns & Cancellations

At Luxselle, we want every purchase to feel effortless and confident. If a piece is not quite right, you have clear rights and a straightforward returns process.

This policy applies to customers in Ireland and the European Union purchasing online from Luxselle, where Luxselle acts as the seller. It sits alongside, and does not limit, your statutory rights under the Irish Consumer Rights Act 2022 and applicable EU consumer protection law.

1. Your right to cancel (14-day cooling-off period)

When you buy online from us, you have 14 calendar days from the date you receive your order to cancel, without giving any reason.

  • You have 14 days from the day you receive your bag (or the last item in a multi-item order) to tell us you wish to cancel.
  • Once you have notified us, you then have a further 14 days to send the item back.

To exercise this right, email info@luxselle.com with your order number and a clear statement that you wish to cancel.

2. How to return

Once you contact us at info@luxselle.com:

  • We will confirm your cancellation and provide you with our returns instructions and reference.
  • Please re-pack the bag securely, ideally in its original packaging, including any dust bags, accessories, authenticity cards, and Luxselle tags received with the item.
  • Unless we explicitly state otherwise, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning the item during the cooling-off period.
  • We strongly recommend a tracked and insured service, as you remain responsible for the item until it reaches us.

If we have agreed in writing to cover return shipping, or the item is faulty or misdescribed, we will provide or reimburse appropriate return postage.

3. Condition of returned items

We ask that you handle each piece with the same care you would in a boutique.

You may inspect and try on the bag only to the extent necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, and functioning, as you would in a physical store.

Please avoid actual “wear”: do not remove protective films unnecessarily, do not transfer your belongings into the bag for daily use, and do not use it outdoors.

If a returned bag shows signs of use beyond a careful try-on (for example: new marks, additional wear, odours, stains, or removed components), we may make a reasonable deduction from your refund to reflect the diminished value.

4. Refunds

Once your return arrives, we will:

  • Inspect the item to confirm its condition and that it matches the original order.
  • Process your refund without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we have received the item back or you have supplied evidence of having sent it, whichever is earlier.

Unless otherwise agreed:

  • Refunds are made using the same payment method you used for the original transaction.
  • We refund the item price and the original standard delivery cost (if any). Any supplementary delivery costs (such as express or timed delivery) are not refundable.
  • Any deduction for diminished value will be clearly itemised in our confirmation.

5. Faulty, misdescribed or counterfeit items

We take authenticity and quality extremely seriously.

If you believe your item is faulty, significantly misdescribed, or not authentic, please contact info@luxselle.com as soon as possible with your order number, photos, and details.

Where an issue is confirmed, we will cover reasonable return shipping costs and offer an appropriate remedy in line with your statutory rights (repair if possible, replacement where available, or a refund).

6. Items not eligible for return under the cooling-off rules

The 14-day cooling-off period does not apply to certain categories of goods under EU law (for example, bespoke or clearly personalised products).

At present, Luxselle does not typically sell items that fall into these excluded categories. If we ever offer such products (for example, a monogrammed strap), we will clearly indicate this before purchase and explain where the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply or may be lost once customisation begins.

Your statutory rights relating to faulty goods remain unaffected in all cases.

7. Summary

  • You have 14 days from delivery to cancel for any reason.
  • You then have 14 days to return the item.
  • You receive a refund of the item price and standard delivery, subject to any fair deduction for use beyond a normal in-store try-on.
  • If an item is faulty, misdescribed, or not authentic, we will put it right in line with your statutory rights and cover return postage.
