At Luxselle, authenticity is non-negotiable. It is the foundation of our brand and the promise behind every piece we offer.
To protect our customers and uphold the highest standards, we apply two complementary layers of authentication to every item we sell.
Our two-layer authentication process
In-house expertise
Our specialists examine each bag in detail, reviewing materials, stitching, hardware, serial numbers, date codes, and brand-specific signatures. This expertise is built through years of hands-on experience handling genuine luxury pieces across leading fashion houses.
Entrupy technology
For brands and models supported by Entrupy, we use their AI-powered authentication system. Entrupy is widely recognised within the luxury industry and trusted by leading global resellers.
How Entrupy works with Luxselle
Entrupy’s technology combines microscopic imaging and machine learning. Each eligible bag is scanned using a proprietary device that captures highly detailed images of the surface, stitching, logos, and materials.
These images are analysed against a vast database of known authentic and counterfeit items, generating an objective authentication result with a very high accuracy rate. Where applicable, this result is backed by a financial guarantee from Entrupy.
For you, this means:
- A deeper level of scrutiny than the human eye alone can provide
- A clear, objective decision on authenticity for supported brands
- Where issued, an Entrupy Certificate of Authenticity that accompanies the bag and can strengthen its future resale value

Our authenticity promise
For every item listed on Luxselle:
- We will never knowingly sell counterfeit goods.
- We only list an item as authentic once it has passed our internal checks and, where applicable, Entrupy’s digital analysis.
- If an item cannot be authenticated to our satisfaction, it will not be offered for sale on Luxselle.
In the unlikely event that any authenticity concern arises after purchase, we treat this with absolute priority. If a credible issue is confirmed, we will work with you to resolve it fully in line with your consumer rights under Irish and EU law, including return and refund where appropriate.
Independence and brand relations
Luxselle is an independent reseller and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially associated with the luxury brands we sell. All trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
Entrupy is an independent third-party authentication provider. We use their technology to strengthen our internal standards and to provide an additional, recognised layer of assurance for our customers.
